In May of this year, The Student Council at NYU College of Dentistry approved our request to establish an official AGD Student Chapter.  This is monumental, this is  the first Student Chapter in New York and much of the thanks for all the hard work done to make this happen goes to our very own Board member and NYU faculty Dr. Seung-Hee Rhee.  Her hard work and dedication to the AGD and her students opened the door for the students to get a chance to learn in depth how organized dentistry will play a part in their profession and that the AGD offers benefits where their member can actually see the return on the investment.  The NYU Student Chapter Executive Council is comprised of the following: 

President – Hae Lim Ji, Class of 2018

Vice President – Amanda Muzzio, Class of 2018

Secretary – Nicole Liu , Class of 2019

Treasurer – Seungjin (Agatha) Kim, Class of 2019

On September 13, the NYU AGD Student Chapter participated in the NYU Student Council "Club Fair" to introduce the 1st year student to the various clubs at NYU.  It was a huge success! They signed up 76 new Student Members and captured 139 student email information.
