Course Goals and Objectives:

Surgical Extraction of Impacted Mandibular Third Molars: Prevention and Management of Nerve Damage.

The dentists will learn how to classify the impacted mandibular third molars with the CBCT, the risk of nerve damage during the extraction and how to avoid it with full description of coronoctomy.

Immediate Management of Oral and Maxillofacial Gun-shot Wounds and Explosive Blast Injuries.

In these trouble times no one knows when our physicians will be called upon to treat gun-shot injuries in mass casualties on short notice and without time for training other than what they have learned in medical, dental schools or internship. The dentists will learn the basic management for life saving for such kind of wounds.

Dental Implant Surgery Complications and Failure Etiology, Avoidance and Management

The continuously increasing number of implants placed in every day clinical practice, it is reasonable to anticipate an increasing prevalence of implant complications.  Implant surgical complications are not uncommon, and are expected to lead to poor treatment outcomes and sometimes life threatening.
