About the Speaker

Robert J. Perri, DDS, FAGD

Dr. Perri graduated from NYU College of Dentistry in 1990, he is also a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry. Completed training in Early, Adolescent and Adult Orthodontic. I have been treating orthodontics in the mixed and permanent dentition for over 30 years.

Course Goals:

Day 1 Live Zoom Lecture Webinar.

  1. Recognize malocclusion in primary and mixed dentition that would benefit from early intervention. How to treat those cases with fixed or removable appliances, or when to refer.

     2.   The two most important measurements in a Cephalometric

           Analysis to dictate if you should treat a case or refer.

  1. anterior tooth correction for cosmetics and function with fixed and removable appliances.

  2. Introduction to Invisalign, is it right for your practice?

For the hands-on Sunday, June 14

In-Person, lecture and hands-on.

Cephalometric Reading, bracket placement, measuring for Myobrace, adjusting Spring and Hawley Retainers, Inman Aligners. Fabrication and adjustment of a Utility Arch (2x4) Appliance.

Instruments:

-Bird-beak or Brehm Orthodontic Plier

-.016” x.016” stainless steel orthodontic wire

-typodont to bond brackets with fitting molar bands (or bondable molar tubes)

-Tracing paper and pencil

-brackets for upper and lower central and lateral incisors

-bonding agent, composite and Crazy Glue

-bracket positioning height gauge

-bracket placing forces

Course Fee: Includes hands-on materials and full breakfast and lunch on Sunday, June 14.
