Course Goals and Objectives Patients today are more educated in the process of implant treatment, especially the surgical aspect of this discipline. Computer guided surgery (CGS) was introduced over 30 years ago and has been well documented in the literature. With the advancement of the digital dentistry this modality has been more and more in demand from the clinicians as well as the patients. Computer guided surgery allows the clinician to create a predictable result routinely. CGS is an added benefit to the armamentarium of clinicians in the field of dental implantology. Computer guided surgery can be an added benefit to the more seasoned clinician as well as the beginner dentist. There is learning curve with computer guided surgery and there are few courses that are given to teach this discipline. Dental Implant Surgical Seminar (DISS) is a course dedicated to teaching CGS to its participants. DISS has been giving this course extensively in Guatemala since 2017. This is a 3-day course, were the participants will get one day of lecture and two days of clinical hours on LIVE patients. They will place 20 implants by the end of the course session, practicing the benefit of CGS all under the full supervision in a state of an art University of Francisco Marroquine (UFM). DISS is bringing the hands-on course to New York as a one-day lecture and model workshop. Objective of the course:
