Presentation by Dr. Eugene Antenucci - Friday, October 27, 2017 Dr. Eugene Antenucci’s expertise in the clinical integration and utilization of advanced dental technologies has assisted many dentists make sound decisions in working with and profiting from technology in practice. As an international lecturer, his programs have provided hundreds of attendees with concrete and usable information on the practical applications of technologies such as digital impressioning, intra and extra-oral imaging, material selection and utilization in providing esthetic restorations, digital radiography, dental photography, dental lasers, cone-beam CBCT imaging, office automation, as well as the incorporation of social media and the internet in dental marketing in order to increase a practice’s visibility and flow of new patients. Dr. Antenucci maintains a full-time restorative, implant and cosmetic private practice on Long Island, N.Y. His state-of-the-art facility and practice was distinguished as “Dental Practice of the Month” by Dental Economics, and “Business of the Year” by the Huntington Chamber of Commerce. Course Decription - Image is Everything: Restorative Dentistry From an Entirely New Perspective The course will include a discussion of digitally produced implant restorations and how digital scanning impressioning technologies fully integrate with 3D cone-beam imaging to plan and deliver prosthetically driven implant prostheses. The presentation is clinically based, providing a sound understanding of ceramic materials such as e.max, Empress and Zirconium in restorative dentistry, and the use of digital impressioning and in-office fabrication techniques in creating restorations. The goal of utilizing and implementing digital impressioning and 3D imaging technologies is improving patient care as well as the efficiency and bottom line of the practice. This seminar will make practical sense of two core dental technologies, and provide practical guidance to practitioners in their use in restorative dentistry.

Presentation by Dr. Richard Trushkowsky - Saturday, October 28, 2017 An overview of conservative esthetic restorations Understanding basic esthetic parameters including the use of the “buccal corridor” technique Proper preparations for veneers, crowns, inlays and onlays Flexible model technique Selection of material for restoration Selection of luting cements Case Presentations on Pediatric and Special Patient Care will be Sunday, October 29 Early Bird Course Fee: AGD Members - $850.00 ($1100 after September 25, 2017) Non-member - $1000.00 AGD New Dentist - $650.00 (includes breakfasts. lunches, materials and case presentation session in 6 months) Course Codes: 250 The Empire State Mastership Track is a “Protocol” program that complies with the standards and guidelines of AGD’s Council on Dental Education. In order to receive full participation credit the participant will be required to do a case presentation based on an in-office procedure that reflects the material taught by the instructor. The fee for this program includes the case presentation session, held approximately 6 months after the initial meeting. This program is open to all dentists including pre-fellows as credit is applied towards Mastership. The New York State constituent of the Academy of General Dentistry is an approved PACE provider. The sponsor's formal CDE programs are acceptable by the AGD for Fellowship, Mastership and maintenance credit. Approval does not imply acceptance by a state of provincial board of dentistry.
