The New York AGD Learning Center Presents "Challenges in Periodontics and Implant Dentistry" Date: Sunday, May 3, 2020 Location: 1902 Whitestone Expressway, Suite 204, Whitestone, NY 11357 Course 8:30am to 12:30pm Course Code: 490 Presentation by: Edgard El Chaar, DDS, MS Dr. Edgard El Chaar is currently a Clinical Associate Professor at the Department of Periodontics and Implant Dentistry and the Director of Advanced Education Program in Periodontics at New York University College of Dentistry. Former Director and Founder of Advanced Education Program in Periodontics at Lutheran Medical Center. He has a thriving private practice in New York City that specializes in dental implants and Periodontal disease. He is the founder of EEC Institute, a continuing education and research institution focused on the advancement of clinical periodontics and implant dentistry. He travels several times a year to lecture internationally and domestically and has published several articles in peer-reviewed journals and authored several chapters in published books. Course Goals and Objectives: Dentistry has become more challenging today than it has ever been. The demand of perfection in esthetics, in oral health and the rise of failure corrections and peri- implantitis is steadily increasing. This course will go over the challenges that we are facing and the way we can achieve these goals based on sound biologic foundations. New York AGD is designated as an Approved PACE Program Provider by the Academy of General Dentistry. The formal continuing education programs of this program provider are accepted by AGD for Fellowship, Mastership and membership maintenance credit.
