Course Description
Cone Beam Scans have been around for almost 2 decades now and are being used in a dental office for dental implants, endodontics, orthodontics etc. What is lacking is understanding, how to read and extrapolate information from it that can have clinical use for diagnosis and treatment planning. CBCT and cad-cam have made tremendous strides and it is possible that in the very near future, we may see widespread use in robotic surgeries and 100% digital conversion from impressions to scans. we are going to look at all aspects, as well as how to read a scan.
