This course will discuss various matrixing options as applied to anterior or facial composite restorations. Specifically, metal, and plastic matrices will be discussed, as well as sectional and “full contour” ones.

Objectives:

2.  Discuss composite options as well as determinants for matrix selection in the anterior dentition

3. Systematize preparation protocols such as isolation and particle abrasion for carious and non-carious restorations

4. Understand the protocol for direct composite injection molding.
