Presentation by Dr. Natalia Elson

Dr. Natalia Elson is a distinguished figure in contemporary dental education and practice.  Her journey began with her graduation from Dnepropetrovsk Medical Institute, Ukraine, where her passion for dentistry ignited.

Dr. Elson’s dedication to the field propelled her to further enhance her skills, culminating in her successful completion of an Internship in Oral Maxillofacial Surgery in 1986.  She then established a thriving private dental practice in Tallinn, Estonia, renowned for its integration of cutting-edge digital technology and laser techniques.

In pursuit of excellence, Dr. Elson pursued her education in the United States, graduating from NYU College of Dentistry in 2010.  Following this, she completed a General Practice Residency at Stony Brook Hospital.

Her commitment to dental education led her to Academia in 2013, where she shares her expertise with aspiring dental professionals. Notably, Dr. Elson is a member of the Academy of Laser Dentistry, having passed the proficiency exam and received training in laser safety.  She is also a distinguished member of the ALD Speaker Bureau, actively lecturing both nationally and internationally on Laser Dentistry.

Dr. Natalia Elson’s journey exemplifies dedication, expertise, and a passion for advancing dental science, making her a respected leader in the field.

Course Goals and Objectives

• To introduce and educate the audience about the various applications and advantages of lasers in contemporary dental practice.

• To create awareness about the potential benefits of laser technology for both dental professionals and patients.

• To promote the integration of lasers into dental practice by highlighting their effectiveness and efficiency.

• To address any misconceptions or concerns related to laser use in dentistry and provide evidence-based information.

The New York State constituent of the Academy of General Dentistry is an approved program provider.  The sponsor’s formal CDE programs are acceptable by the AGD for Fellowship and Mastership and membership maintenance credit.  This course is also acceptable for MCE Licensing Maintenance.  The current term of approval extends from 01/01/23 to 12/31/24.  AGD Code #219318.
