Eric Kim, PT, DPT, CFMT
Eric received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the New York Institute of Technology in 2008. He evaluates and treats common and complex orthopedic and sports cases. Eric is also a Certified Functional Manual Therapist; who has learned an advanced systematic approach to treating the entire body. Eric has presented at ergonomic fairs and wellness events to discuss ways to improve function and prevent injury
Course Goals and Objectives
: How to prevent neck and back issue for dentist.
- Discuss common causes for back and neck issues experienced by dentist
- Prevention: Importance of Ergonomics and Posture
- Exercises: Share exercises to help address the common back and neck issues experienced by dentist.

Karen Keenan, PT, OCS, ATC
Karen Keenan, PT, OCS, ATC (Supervisor, Glen Cove) Karen received her Bachelors of Science in Physical Therapy from the Acadamie Fysiotherapie Hogeschool Enschede in The Netherlands. She is also a certified Athletic Trainer. She specializes in Orthopaedic Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine and is a Board Certified Orthopaedic Specialist. Outside of STARS, Karen has presented at community lectures discussing fitness for the aging population as well as shoulder injuries. In December of 2007, she was published in an article titled “Hard Hits” in Advance Magazine, Vol 18, Issue 27. Karen is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and the National Athletic Trainer’s Association (NATA).
