About the Speaker:
A proud New Yorker, Dr. Litwin was raised on Long Island; graduating from the University of Buffalo, School of Dental Medicine. He completed his residency at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center and Periodontics at the University of Kentucky. Dr. Litwin currently directs the Spear Study Club and maintains a full time Perio-Practice in the Boston area as well as a private practice in the greater NYC area. Dr. Litwin works with six (6) implant systems and routinely educates referring dental practitioners on both fixed and removable implant restorations.
Course Goals and objectives:
Upon the completion of this course, the practitioner will have a deep understanding of the placement and restoration of implants related to mandibular overdentures.
- Application of implant attachments for removable prosthetics' retention.
- Anatomic issues considerations related to the treatment planning and placement of mandibular implants.
- Implant Selection, duration of healing, restoration and components concerning the implant overdenture attachment systems.
- Chairside retrofitting of mandibular dentures.
- Flap design and soft tissue management surrounding dental implants.
Continental breakfast will be served.

The formal continuing education programs of this program provider are accepted by AGD for Fellowship, Mastership and membership maintenance credit.
