Presentation by Amanda Seay, DDS
Dr. Seay is the owner of a privae practice in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina that focuses on comprehensive restorative dentistry. Her expertise ranges from complex restorative treatment planning to implant/reconstructive dentistry and dental photography. A mentor at the Kois Center, Dr. Seay also has published articles covering the art and techniques of aesthetic dentistry and dental materials. In addition, she serves on the editorial review boards of several peer-reviewed journals. She is also a Key Opinion Leader for IVOCLAR VIVADENT and HERAEUS KULZER involved the beta testing on new products and materials.
Course Goals and Objectives
This hands-on workshop will illustrate the versatility of using composite to create an invisible Class IV restoration using a naturally shaded composite system. Understanding the fundamentals of color and how to decide when to use different systems will be discussed. Topics to be covered include shade selection, material placement and finishing and polishing. Participants will learn a systematic technique to achieve proper contour, form, texture and achieve a beautiful result.
Magnification loupes are suggested.
