Presentation By Dr. Dan Fischer
Dr. Dan Fischer graduated from Loma Linda University,1974. Upon graduation, Dr. Fischer set up a laboratory in the basement of his home. His focus was to discover better ways of controlling bleeding relative to the needs of tissue management for making impressions. After finishing the day in his dental practice, Dr. Fischer would draw his own blood for testing with different chemistries. Astringedent and the Dento-Infusor were created, to be followed later by the Ultrapak knitted cord. Dr. Fischer approached several existing dental manufacturers regarding Astringedent and the Dento-Infusor; none of them were able to see the need or benefit. So with his family, Ultradent Products was born. Dr. Fischer lectures around the world on the subject of Minimal Invasive Dentistry and has been involved in the research and development of dental materials and devices.
