Ryan S. Lee, DDS, MPH, MHA, FAGD, FICOI specializes as dental oncologist and implantologist, focusing on implant and reconstructive care for medically complex individuals, especially those with radiation, transplant, chemotherapy, and/or surgical resection. He studied at Northwestern, Harvard, and A.T. Still University, with clinical training completed at New York University, Jersey City Medical Center, and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. After teaching at NYU for 4 years and co-directing their special care dentistry clinic, Dr. Lee now has 3 private practices in New York City and Boston dedicated to implantology and dental oncology. He also serves as a Major in the United States Army National Guard and sits on the board of various non-profit medical charities doing work in the Caribbean and Latin America.
Course Goals and Objectives
Dionavi is the latest cutting-edge workflow solution with advanced features such as back end planning, highest accuracy in surgical guides, UFII implant system, chairside UV activator and 3d printing working seamlessly on a universal platform. This course will introduce the participants to a hands-on approach to use this turnkey solution at an advanced level and understand the nuances of digital workflows.
By the end of the hands-on course participants will learn-
Interpretation of requisite CBCT images in three-dimensional format focusing on appropriate fields of views and cross sectionals, analyzing osseous structures and their variations in relevance to implant planning.
Hands on approach to intra oral scanning aiding digital acquisition of anatomical landmarks for treatment planning and analysis of potential outcomes.
Merging the data acquired from CBCT and intra oral scanner and understanding the meshed images for accurate planning.
Importance of back end planning to save chairside time and deliver faster and high-quality care to the patients.
Understanding the importance of surgical protocols that makes a procedure successful. Participants will also learn to use the various surgical kits including sinus lift protocols.
Additionally, all participants will be eligible for a discount of 20% for three cases which will include, implants, surgical guides, abutments and temporary crowns along with appropriate surgical kits and intra oral scanner rentals as a benefit to attending the course.
The New York State constituent of the Academy of General Dentistry is an approved program provider. The sponsor’s formal CDE programs are acceptable by the AGD for Fellowship and Mastership and membership maintenance credit. This course is also acceptable for MCE Licensing Maintenance.
