About the Speaker: Dr. Michael Cali

Dr. Michael L. In addition to being in private practice for more than thirty years, Dr. Cali is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Linhart Continuing Dental Education Department at New York University College of Dentistry. He teaches other licensed dentists taking the course "Full Mouth Reconstruction; Occlusion, Implants and Esthetics".

Course Description

Third parties such as the legal system and lawyers, licensing boards, peer review committees and insurance companies all are entitled to review the care we provide our patients. Concepts for successfully defending our treatment, if and when we are called upon to do so, will be discussed, thereby helping to insure a successful and favorable outcome for the dentist. Real life case scenarios demonstrating dental/legal concepts will be presented. Ample time will be allowed for questions from the course attendees. Upon successful completion of this course, attendees will become more aware of the legal consequences of their dental actions. This awareness will lead to fewer lawsuits and better treatment outcomes for their patients.
