About the Speaker: Dr. Constantine Pavlakos

Constantine Pavlakos D.D.S. received his dental degree and Periodontal specialty training at New York University College of Dentistry.He is a Diplomate Of the American Board of Periodontology and is past president of the Second District Dental Society and the Northeastern Society of Periodontists. He is currently a committee member for the Greater New York Dental Meeting and is the Second Districts chair to the New York State Council on Ethics. Dr. Pavlakos currently practices periodontics and implant surgery in Bayridge, Brooklyn and is an Attending for periodontics at NYU-Lutheran Medical Center.

Course Description:

The program will focus on how periodontal surgical procedures; such as subepithelial connective tissue grafts, aesthetic crown lengthening, ridge augmentation and immediate implants can help create aesthetic restorations. The focus of this presentation is to give attendees the information and skills they need to achieve the most favorable outcome. Upon successful completion of this course, attendees will learn to identify fundamental restorative and surgical principles that can be utilized to enhance restorative outcomes.

The New York State constituent of the Academy of General Dentistry is an approved program provider.  The sponsor’s formal CDE programs are acceptable by the AGD for Fellowship and Mastership and membership maintenance credit.  This course is also acceptable for MCE Licensing Maintenance.  The current term of approval extends from 01/01/15 to 12/31/18.  AGD Code #219318.
